Davis, CA 95616		 Meet the Candidates Night. City Council candidates to say why they should be elected. Then they will respond to questions posed by the League in advance. After a break written questions from the audience will be asked of all candidates. Questions directed at just one candidate will not be used. Plan questions accordingly.
Saturday, May 17, 2008-Sunday, May 18, 2008 8:30 am - 6:00 pm Holiday Inn, Capitol Plaza, Sacramento, CA LWVC Leadership Council 2008. "Our Bridge to the Future" Workshops and networking. Topics include: health care, mock elections, membership recruitment, education, voter service and more.
Saturday, May 17, 2008 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Borton Home Garden Annual Meeting and Potluck Lunch. Vote on program, officers and board, for the coming year.

Davis, CA 95616		 Candidate's Night and Ballot Measures Debate. Supervisor District IV Candidates John Ferrara, Cathy Kennedy, and Jim Provenza discuss their candidacies, and locals debate the merits of Propositions 98 and 99, both on Eminent Domain.
Tuesday, June 03, 2008 8:00 am-9:00pm Your precinct polling place. Statewide Direct Primary Election. Choose wisely and cast your ballot.
